Hello everyone. I have put together this guide in order to help you install the simple trainer mod if this guide helps you remember to give it a like and if there is any issues please leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

Before you implement the mod, make sure you read the following;

1) There is an anti-cheat mechanism on the hooked file which means that it will terminate if you attempt to get on GTA Online - thus GTA Online will not work preventing you from accidentally banning yourself. To get back on GTA Online just simply move the modded files out of the root directory.

2) It is a good idea to make a backup file of your game, in case the sh*t hits the fan, (Somehow) so you can revert back to your original files.

3) Do not use the trainer on GTA Online if you do so you may be banned.

You now need to extract the files that you need - see What To Download, I would personally make a new folder with the files inside.

You going to need to find your root directory (Where all the Grand Theft Auto V files are stored) Start by clicking on windows (C:) --> Program Files (x86) --> Steam --> steamapps --> common --> Grand Theft Auto V. There, you would want to extract the files into the root directory.


This is for people who do not have a numpad.

Once you have installed the files into your root directory you are going to need to bind keys as the simple trainer mod has keys that are binded to the numpad.

Open up the file trainerv.ini (The configuration file)

Under keybinding there is a function and after the equal sign there is a number. Each key on your keyboard is assigned a different number see below to find what key has what number. After you have done changing the key binds remember to save the file and open GTA V

This picture shows you which number represents which key;

When ingame press the F3 or F4 key (Or if you have binded the function to another key, press that key) and the trainer menu should appear.


Use the numpad to navigate throughout the trainer numpad 8 moves the selection up, numpad 2 moves the selection down. To select something press numpad 5 to go back press numpad 0

Technical note: If for some reason you would want to reload your scripthook files whilst ingame, press the insert key.

There can be problems that people run into when attempting to install this mod. I hope to go over the main two but leave a comment in this guide if there is another problem that I have not covered.

1) Pressing F4 does not show the trainer

Firstly in your trainer.ini make sure that the keys are correctly binded.

Secondly what you want to do is to create a new file and name this file ScriptHookV.ini. Within this file copy and paste the following

PluginTimeoutThreshold=10000
ConsoleKey=F4
AlwaysShowConsoleOutput=False
IsDeveloperModeEnabled=True
WarnOnPluginLoad=False
ShowOnScreenWarnings=True
DisableCustomLoadingScreen=True
DisableRenderVersionText=True

Done

2) I am presented with a fatal error message

3) I have two mod menus which appear.

This is because you have both the simple trainer and native trainer mod (Or other trainer mod). You will need to remove either one of them in order to use the other one in game
