About Mechtilde Schler

Mechtilde Schler is recognised internationally and has developed innovative mediums, taught and transferred skills to many students and organisations. Painted and implemented skills for many projects, such as the well known Miranda Meyer, Global Award Winner of many Interior and Developments. Me Schler was commissioned by Safmarine to do a painting of Simonstown for Thabo Mbeki President of South Africa.

Her Paintings, Are Incredibly Versatile In Expressions. She Uses A Combination Of Ceramics, Metals, Pigments And Acrylics As Well As Collage, Assemblage, And Ready-mades. This New Medium Is Called “Plak & Pleister Technique And Being Invited By Artists Worldwide To Introduce This New Medium To Them.
